Bondi Junction: preparation behind the finished terrace
This terrace was painted on every exterior side. Before the finish coats, the walls needed chemical cleaning and pressure washing to remove algae and accumulated dirt. Deeper cracks were opened and repaired; larger losses were re-rendered, while smaller brick and render defects were filled.
Protruding metal bolts were cut back and treated locally before patching. The masonry then received Dulux Acratex AcraPrime Solvent Based Clear and two coats of AcraShield Advance Matt. Timber and previously painted metalwork were prepared and coated separately.
The finished photographs were taken about two months after completion. The video explains the work on site; the full Bondi Junction terrace project shows the preparation in more detail.
Darling Point: interior painting and preparation
The Darling Point project included removing old carpet, repairing walls and ceilings, sanding, masking and repainting the interior. The kitchen cabinetry needed its own cleaning, preparation, primer and sprayed finish. Dulux Wash&Wear Low Sheen in Natural White was used on the walls.

Will my project need a primer?
Bare timber, repairs, stains and powdery masonry may need different treatment from sound painted surfaces. We assess the substrate and product requirements before specifying primers.

Is a deposit required?
