Inspect and agree on the work
We visit the property, check the surfaces and discuss the rooms, colours, finishes and access. You receive a written quote explaining the agreed work before painting starts.
Protect and prepare
We protect floors, furniture and nearby fittings, then complete the agreed filling, patching and sanding. Areas that need priming are prepared before the finishing coats are applied.
Paint with attention to the details
We apply the agreed paint system to suit each surface, with careful cutting-in, consistent coverage and appropriate drying time between coats.
Check, tidy and walk through
We check the finish, complete touch-ups and remove the protective coverings when the work is ready. We then walk through the completed areas with you and leave the space tidy.
Painting apartments and homes you live in
Painting needs to fit around the property as well as the surfaces. If you are living at home during the work, we discuss room access, furniture and the order of painting so you know which areas will be available.

Questions about painting your interior
Can you paint selected rooms rather than the whole home?
Yes. We can quote selected rooms, ceilings, doors or other agreed interior surfaces, as well as a complete repaint. Let us know which areas you want to update so the quote reflects the work you need.
Can I stay at home while the painting is underway?
This depends on the scope of work, room access and the products being used. We can discuss staging the work room by room where practical. Tell us about your household routine so we can agree on suitable arrangements before starting.
What should I move before the painters arrive?
We discuss furniture and access during the site visit. Small valuables, fragile items and personal belongings are best cleared from the work areas. The arrangements for larger furniture and protective coverings should be agreed before the job begins.
Do you repair damaged walls before painting?
Our preparation can include filling, patching and sanding, with the repairs included in your quote. If there is peeling paint, water staining or an ongoing moisture problem, we assess the affected paintwork and explain what needs attention before repainting. The cause of ongoing moisture needs to be resolved first.
How long will an interior repaint take?
The timeframe depends on the size of the job, surface repairs, access, the coating system and drying conditions. We discuss the expected schedule after inspecting the property. Let us know if you are working towards a move-in, tenancy or sale date.
Does interior painting include kitchens and bathrooms?
We can include the agreed walls, ceilings and painted trim in kitchens, bathrooms and laundries. Kitchen cabinets, specialist coatings and other additional work need to be discussed and listed separately in the quote.
